The Challenge
To create a visually appealing and cohesive bilingual logo for “Figs & Olive” that effectively communicates the brand’s identity in both English and Arabic. The design needed to maintain a consistent look and feel across both languages while incorporating a floral font with leaf-shaped elements to emphasize the natural and wholesome aspects of the brand. A key challenge was ensuring the Arabic version of the logo was not simply a direct translation, but a custom design that captured the essence of the brand while maintaining visual harmony with the English version.
The Solution
I developed a unique logo design that seamlessly integrates the English and Arabic scripts. I carefully selected a floral font with delicate leaf shapes, subtly incorporating them into the letterforms to evoke a sense of freshness and naturalness. The font choice complements both languages, creating a harmonious visual balance. To achieve a truly cohesive design, I crafted a custom Arabic version of the logo, meticulously adjusting letterforms and spacing to mirror the visual flow and aesthetic of the English version. The color palette further reinforces the brand’s identity, with earthy tones suggesting natural ingredients and healthy choices.
